Incredibly exciting things have happened this week!
ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: LAST EXAM EVER
The moment I walked out of my last exam was one of the most surreal
moments. It always feels great to walk out of your last exam of the
semester, but to walk out of an exam that is your last, now that, that
is pure bliss. Throughout the whole exam season I longed for it to be
over and would mentally make a list of all the awesome things I want to
do to kick off my freedom. When it actually came to leaving my last
exam, it was like, wow, I actually have time to do nothing. I have nothing to do.
All our educational lives are driven by that one graduation moment, and I am finally here. Well, nearly. But wow, just such a surreal feeling. So close to achieving one of my goals on my Bucket List.
SPENDING SPREE: SOMEBODY STOP ME!
This week I also went a little crazy online and bought things left, right and center! I'm usually not a huge spender. I don't really enjoy the process of buying things, just the part where you come home and look at all the stuff you buy! I blame this random spending spree as a consequence of exam pressure, but hey, good things have come from it!
I've always wanted to have a huge DVD collection but it never really lift off. I mean, you could count the DVDs I own on your fingers and toes! So whilst on this spending spree, I bought two DVDs. Well, technically 7 DVDs as one was a box set. Any guesses what the box set was?
Begins with "SH" ends in "ERLOCK".
Yes! I did indeed buy the Sherlock box set which has arrived safe and sound and is now resting on my shelf after it's long journey. Suprisingly, I haven't already watched every single episode already. I've only watched A Study in Pink and half way through the commentary of it by Mofftiss and Vertue. Could not wipe the grin off my face watching the episode!
Thinking of doing a Couch Potato post on the series, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
The second DVD I bought was the incredibly beautiful Chasing Cotards short film. I shall speak no more of it's awesomeness here as I'm currently working on a blog post dedicated just to it ready for your eyes on Friday!
The final purchase I made is by far the biggest thing I have ever purchased but it's not for me, but for my mum. I have bought her an iPad and case to go with it. Not so perfectly, the case arrived before the iPad so I had a lonely case awaiting his partner. But exciting news, IT CAME TODAY! Who knew there was deliveries on Sunday!
Right, that's me done for the week.
I hope you had a beautiful one!
Keep smiling,
